Back to Nature - A Summer Yoga Retreat with Nurture Saddleworth

  • Camp Plas Plas Dolanog Dolanog, Welshpool, Wales, SY21 0NA United Kingdom (map)

Escape to the heart of the Welsh countryside this July for a weekend of slow living, wild beauty, and deep rest. Surrounded by rolling green hills, ancient woodland, and meadows alive with wildflowers, this summer retreat is a chance to pause, breathe, and enjoy a few unhurried days in nature.

About the hosts

Nurture is an award-winning yoga and therapy centre in the heart of Saddleworth. They believe in an integrated approach to health and well-being and so promote the importance of caring for mind, body and the earth. View the event page on their website here.

About the retreat

Our home for the weekend sits hidden among rolling green hills, tranquil woodlands, and meadows bursting with wildflowers. Wake to birdsong and sunlight spilling through the trees, then wander down to the river for a quiet moment by the water before morning yoga. Between practices, take time to explore the incredible surroundings, relax in the wood-fired sauna, or simply sink into the stillness of nature all around you.

Each day we’ll enjoy vibrant, seasonal meals — colourful, nourishing, and lovingly prepared — to refuel and restore. Evenings bring slower movement, gentle breathwork, and time to gather around wholesome food and good company as the day fades into golden light.

Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this retreat offers space to unwind and rediscover balance. Expect laughter, calm, and connection — with nature, with community, and with yourself.

The Bell Tents come with outdoor seats and a fire pit for you to enjoy the cosy summer evenings in peace, accompanied by the sounds of the river Vyrnwy and the crackling of your fire.

The aim is to keep the meadow as undisturbed as possible, so when you arrive you'll be shown your Bell Tent and given wheelbarrows to carry your items. This protects the field, keeps it a peaceful area
