Experience camping and glamping at the Boatshed and Cuddfan Bach with us

Please take note of the following terms and conditions for Accommodation or Camping/Glamping bookings:

Booking

1.1. We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings at our discretion.

1.2. Your contract with us will start when we issue your booking confirmation and will be based on the terms and conditions stated in this document.

1.3. All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of your booking confirmation, which includes details such as the Accommodation, dates of stay, maximum number of guests allowed, total amount payable, and payment deadlines. We will send your booking confirmation via email.

1.5. As the person making the booking, you are responsible for all members of your party. You must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.

1.6. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

1.7. We can only discuss your booking with you, and not with any other member of your party, unless you provide written consent.

Payment

2.1. We accept credit or debit card payments.

2.2. For camping, we require full payment on booking.

2.3. For glamping in our Boatshed or Cuddfan Bach accommodations, we require 20% of the total payment upon booking, with remaining balance due 21 days before arrival date.

Pricing

3.1. We regularly review and adjust the prices of our Accommodations. The price of your Accommodation will be confirmed at the time of booking and in your booking confirmation.

3.2. We reserve the right to charge for water, gas, electricity, and oil that may apply to the Accommodation.

Cancellation

4.1. To cancel a confirmed booking, you must notify us by email (contact@the-plas.com) as soon as possible, but no later than the first day of your booking.

4.2. As we are a small business, we regret that refunds cannot be provided for cancellations.

4.3. Our cancellation charges are calculated according to the time between when we receive notification from you that you wish to cancel your booking and the start of your booking.

4.4. We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers illness, cancellation, and injuries during your stay.

Changes to Booking

5.1. To change any detail of your confirmed booking, please notify us by email (contact@the-plas.com) as soon as possible.

5.2. As we are a small business, we regret that rescheduling of dates or booking cannot be accommodated in any circumstances.

Changes or Cancellation by Us

6.1. We do not anticipate the need to change or cancel your booking, but unforeseen circumstances may arise. We will only change or cancel your booking:

6.1.1. If essential remedial or refurbishment works are necessary to perform or complete; or

6.1.2. If reasons beyond our reasonable control occur after your booking, such as severe weather conditions or water shortages at The Plas.

6.2. In such cases, we will offer a suitable alternative booking. If no suitable alternative is available or if you do not accept the alternative offered, we will refund you the total amount paid for the booking.

6.3. We will only be liable for foreseeable losses due to changes or cancellations. We are not responsible for any unforeseeable losses you may incur. A loss is foreseeable if it is a direct consequence of our change or cancellation of your booking or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time of entering into this contract.

6.4. We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers illness, cancellation, and injuries during your stay.

EVENTS AT THE PLAS

Please take note of the following terms and conditions for Event bookings:

Events

1.1. We reserve the right to accept or decline event bookings at our discretion.

1.2. Your contract with us will start when we issue your event booking confirmation and will be based on the terms and conditions stated in this document.

1.3. All event bookings are confirmed upon receipt of your booking confirmation, which includes details such as the dates of the event, maximum number of guests allowed, total amount payable, and payment deadlines. We will send your booking confirmation via email.

1.5. As the person making the booking, you are responsible for all members of your party. You must be at least 18 years old at the time of booking.

1.6. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

1.7. We can only discuss your event booking with you, and not with any other member of your party, unless you provide written consent.


Payment

2.1. For events, all payments must be made as arranged upon booking. This will usually be via bank transfer.

2.2. We do not accept credit or debit cards on site - all payments must be made before arrival.

3.1. We regularly review and adjust the prices of our event hire. The price of your event hire will be confirmed at the time of booking and in your booking confirmation.
