Seasonal Celebration Yoga with AnjaYoga - Yule/Winter Solstice Celebration
We're delighted to be co-hosting Seasonal Celebration Yoga sessions this Autumn/Winter with our wonderful local Yoga teacher Anja.
These sessions follow the Celtic Calendar and turning of the wheel, always drawing inspiration from the incredible nature we're surrounded by here at Camp Plas.
All classes will be held in our cosy, open-air barn, and for the colder weather sessions, we'll have a warm fire to gather around! This is the perfect way to celebrate the changing seasons and embrace mindfulness and stillness during this time. Please wear layers and bring a blanket, particularly if you feel the cold!
Everyone is welcome, with the classes being physically gentle and following the rhythms of nature. Please come along! Each session will include a herbal tea and homemade cake afterwards.

The Loop Ultra with Limitless Trails
In collaboration with Limitless Trails, we're proud to be hosting The Loop Ultra 32 Mile trail event!
The Loop Ultra 32 Mile trail event is a great challenge amongst some spectacular, harsh but stimulating trails within the remote and less explored Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. Attracting runners from the elite to the ultra beginner, you will not be disappointed.
Heartful Harmonies Singing & Camping Weekend with Katy Rose Bennett & Rosie Sleightholme
Katy and Rosie are delighted to invite you to take part in a full weekend of a cappella singing in the beautiful surrounds of Camp Plas!
Both are experienced singers, songwriters and community choir leaders and love getting people singing in sweet a cappella harmony.
Mindful Movement and Creative Connection in Nature Retreat
Jackie Jones Yoga together with Ruth Gibson Ceramics will be joining forces for a womens-only retreat!
Bushcraft Skills at Camp Plas
Local wildlife expert Dan will be running an exciting bushcraft session this month on Saturday 10th August.
This session will be held in our brand new forest canopy and promises to be a wonderful, educational session and perfect for the whole family!

Dedicated and skilled Pilates teacher Pauline of Love Pilates Wirral will be back again this summer for her annual Pilates and Wellbeing Retreat here at Camp Plas. It's a small, intimate retreat with limited places on offer to ensure maximum benefits to everyone who takes part.

Foragers Dinner - Fantastic Feasts and where to find them
Join us for an introduction to foraging with a short walk introducing native species of edible plants, followed by a dinner of local produce and foraged elements!
The lovely Jo of Fantastic Feasts will be leading us through the day - she is local to the Dolanog area and has a huge wealth of experience in knowledge and experience in our native Welsh nature. She has spent the last few years working in local hospitality and events businesses, before taking the plunge to pursue a life long dream of having her own catering and events company. We are proud to be supporting a local Welsh business through this session and it promises to be an enjoyable (and delicious!) day for all.
Early bird price is £39 per person when booked before 1st October, including delicious meal! Price will increase to £50 per person after 1st October.

Charity Music Concert & Barn Dance
Getting ready to do-si-do once more at the charity concert and barn dance at Camp Plas
Bat & moth night
Run in partnership with the Montgomery Wildlife Trust, the evening will start with an introductory talk, followed by a bat walk. We will then return to 'base camp' to look at which insects have been attracted to our light traps.
Price: Free (donations to Montgomery Wildlife Trust welcomed)
Suitable for: Adults, Experts, Beginners
What to bring: Wear clothing suitable for the weather and waterproof footwear if joining the bat walk. Bring a torch. If you have a bat detector and/or moth ID guides, please feel free to bring them.
Mayflower Quintet Concert & Barn Dance
The evening will consist of a one-hour concert from the quintet, followed by light refreshments to include homemade pizza.
For those who would like to, there will then be an opportunity to stretch your legs by learning and taking part in a few Barn Dances. Don’t worry if you haven’t done it before - there will be one or two helpers on the floor, and time in between dances to have a rest and/or a drink! Music will be provided by the quintet.
Tickets £15 - all proceeds to charity.
Love Pilates Wellness Retreat
We’d like to invite you to an exclusive ‘return to life’ wellness experience, run by Love Pilates. It will be small and intimate with limited places on offer. Inspired by the work of Joseph Pilates, who valued the importance of movement, fresh air, play, swimming and sleep for complete co-ordination of body, mind and spirit, we can’t imagine a better location as the backdrop for this retreat.
Only a couple of spaces left for 2022. However, you can register your interest for the 2023 retreat by contacting Love Pilates.

Yoga in the Barn - March-September
Anja of Anja Yoga runs a weekly yoga session in the Barn here at Camp Plas. The session is often followed by a wild swim in our lovely river. This weekly class will resume in March 2024 - day TBC
One-to-one Yoga
If during your stay you’d like a one-to-one yoga session, please contact us in advance of your stay. We have a number of local yoga teachers that would be happy to accommodate it in the Barn, in the Boatshed or Bell Tent (if that’s where you’re staying), or even in the wildflower meadow right next to your tent.
Paddleboarding Lessons
We’ve got a local paddleboarding instructor Emma who is happy to give paddleboarding lessons during your stay. Please contact us Emma on 07855294830 in advance of your stay to discuss your requirements.
Archery Sessions
We’ve got a local Archery instructor Chris who is happy to give lessons during your stay. Please contact us in advance of your stay to discuss your requirements.
