Tips for children using the sauna:
Limit time: Start with short sessions (5–10 minutes), and build up to 15 minutes over time.
No long sessions - children’s bodies heat us faster than adults, so shorter durations are safer.
Encourage plenty of water before and after the sauna.
Avoid sugary or carbonated drinks during sauna use.
Teach children to listen to their body and step out if they feel dizzy, lightheaded or unwell. A cool shower afterwards helps.
For any children aged 12-16 using the Sauna, the Under 16’s Waiver Form must be signed by their parent or guardian - please ask for one on your arrival.
